What MTB Gloves 2018?

I had the Ranger gloves for a bit but found the velcro fastener was small and gave up too quickly, didn't even last a year. That was a couple years back now as I didn't care to replace the Rangers with another pair of Rangers, so maybe this has since been addressed. Nonetheless, personally wouldn't consider these a worthy option given their asking price

I must agree the velcro fastener could be better, luckily the gloves are not to tight around my wrists so the velcro doesn't do much

Yeah, okay, so the gloves and helmet arrived and I’m not overly thrilled to be honest.

I measured my hands and ordered as per the size chart but they are small and tight. They are wearable, but the main issue is getting them on and off because the cuff area is so small that I have to stretch it to the point of almost breaking and it’s an absolute mission to get my hands in and out.

Pretty sucky.

I’ve contacted the manufacturer and where I bought from about the helmet so I’ll not comment on that until they’ve had a chance to respond.

Fully agree with Myles on this one! If you’re into trail or enduro biking you won’t be disappointed - the Leatt DBX 3.0 glove is da bomb! ...Extremely well engineered. ...And well priced too. ...And a local South African company nogal! We should be supporting these dudes 100%! I have a Leatt helmet and also fully stoked on it. (No I don’t work for the company... Just appreciate genuine quality & design when I see it!) In the future will def be buying more Leatt gear.

Back to the gloves... My personal Leatt choice is the DBX 3.0 X-Flow. Just got a new pair of these today actually! (Btw... Avoid the DBX “windBloc” model unless you live in a cold climate. Your hands will cook in SA summer!)

Tip for best sizing: Check out the glove measurement guide on the Leatt website. If you find yourself between 2 sizes, Eg. medium & large, opt for the bigger size. Nothing worse than an over tight glove! ...Except maybe an over tight helmet!!! ;-)

Hope this helps somebody

God bless & enjoy the trails!
