I was a pedestrian crossing the road in Strand street Cape Town yesterday afternoon at 5pm looking out for all the big Golden Arrow busses pulling out into the road and cars. So I see it's all clear and I start walking into the road and suddenly a guy on a moped is right in front of me, I honestly K@**ed myself I got such a skrik that I didn't see the oke. He swore profusely at me while passing. I felt so bad and wish I could apologise to the guy. But this was for me a real wake up call to be more vigilant in future on the road when I'm driving as I realised just how easy these things can happen. Lucky for me on this occasion nobody was harmed, but scary it happened non the less.

I want to know what kind of person goes out and buys a moped and drives it at break neck speeds? The Turbo Levo FSR Carbon must be a way better ride than a moped Turbo Levo FSR Carbon
FirstV8 Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Glad you and the moped rider did not collide . I had a very similar incident in Amsterdam once when walked fast over the road and then stepped into the cycle lane to almost be taken out by a guy on a Ebike going at speed .
