Good on you

Cyclist really typically look out for each other.

Did a MTB event this weekend, had 2 punctures. Out of the 20 odd people who passed me only 1 or 2 did not ask if I was OK. It almost became an irritation, but I'd rather "suffer" through the constant questions as opposed to nobody being willing to help when you need something.

So in the same breath, thanks to the whole lot of guys offering support at the Lydenburg MTB race, julle is lekker ouens!

Riding back from Cape Town I saw someone busy with a flat tyre.

I always offer to help.

I stopped and offered him my spare.

Glad I was able to help you out.

I Hope you managed to get home.

Cheers

Well done dude!

Funny, I've yet to hear the 'why do you carry so much stuff' comment that gets knocked about in the car park when I'm handing over a tube, plug or bomb trailside.

MTBikers always offer assistance when they see a fellow rider stopped..not often with the roadies. But i had an incident a while back on the " circuit" in Durbs one morning..after 3 flats i gave up.2 riders stopped and INSISTED on helping me out and i never got any details. But the lesson from this is always ask if help is needed and let the rider opt to say no.Dont ride off without offering.simple rule to follow.

Maybe the roadies can smell your bad attitude towards them before they get close enough to offer their assistance.

Hi Frail

It's good to hear from you after such a long quiet period. Are you well? Riding again, so you must be!
