I keep mine in a bag.

 

when the bag is full I take it with to Northern farms and give to the kids from the Diepsloot Cycle Club/ academy.

 

For the non Jhb guys the black kids that learn to cycle at Northern Farms a Community run trail setup North of Jhb. 

 

I do the same with old 2nd hand cycle outfits , shoes etc

My trophy shelves have curly style brackets which happen to hold medals fairly well, so the more memorable ones go there, the usual finnishers medal I turn down at the line.

My 5 Yr old son, claims any medals I get.

 

Once he's old enough not too want them any more, will donate to red Cross cancer unit
