What a nice event !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Certainly enough of a trail to keep the hardcore guys happy in the front.

AND - what a stunning mix of running and cycling to involve the WHOLE family.

Okay, there were "some" issues with the trail markings ....  more than half the 5,5km participants ended up doing in excess of 10km  ..... Fine for us, we ENJOYED our 14km route !!  Not so fine for the inexperienced kids ......  At one point I rounded up 3 lost boys of about 6 years old .....  BUT, they all made it to the finish line, and they were all smiles under the white tent.

WILL be back next year !!!!!

THANKS to the organisers !

Agree!

What a day and the 60km was a tough one!

Trail markings could be a little better, would recommend throwing a bit of chalk on the T-sections.

Other than that it was a fun day on the bike, stunning views and cool trails.

I punctured twice on the bridge crossings as the wire wasn't bent down, saw a few sealant splashes so not the only one, but hey, part of the sport.

Will be attending next year if I'm lucky enough.

Obviously we are not at the sharp end of the field ...  :whistling:

The bad markings allowed us to do a very nice 14km, instead of the 5,5km .... And because of the circle route you knew you were never that far away from starting point.

Maritz is still struggling with those bridge crossings.  He cant get enough momentum to get over it, and when things get "bumpy" he stands on the pedals and stops peddling .... o-well, part of growing into this sport.  On Saturday he did B-Spot at Bloemendal, three times.  Managed those bridges well enough.  Actually managed to cycle up some steep hills he previously could not .... so nice to see him grow with each ride
