Anyone ever had to service a Track Pump?

Mine seems to be struggling to inflate tyres at the moment.

I just checked the pipe between the pump and the bike valve and everything seems clear - there was a little bit of moisture that blew out when I tried the pump after removing the valve connector piece.

I did wonder in the problem was slime in my valves because both MTBs have it (one tubed one tubeless), but the problem of struggling to get air into the tyres persists with the road bikes.

I can get some air in if I use all of my weight, but on an un-inflated tyre that clearly shouldn't be necessary.

get A new hose ( those cheap ryder hoses should work on most pumps )

or check the o-rings on the piston in the main chamber of the pump , should be a few cents to replace at your local hardware shop

Normally a quick clean and lube of the o-rings gets it working again...

Oops. Didn't read properly. Check for dry sealantin the system - I've had that issue before.

No need for a new pump, I've only had is one 12 years . . . .

Will check for sealant and maybe use Ramons compressor to blow out the tubes etc.

take it apart -clean -lube - or replace your hose with a cheapy kit from sportsmans warehouse - mostly thats all it takes you dont need to but a new one
