Hi all

I have a single button dual lockout on my bike, locking out the fork and shock,

BUT seems to have come to the end of its life, know allot of people had problem with this specific one from SRAM also.

Anyone else using one, which one?

I've used the dual lock out as well as the single (RS-1) and RS Monarch XX.

They work well but do need to be serviced. The plastic plate in the lever assembly seems to be break and then the unit remains locked.. During service this is replaced with a metal unit and then it works again and lasts longer

My problem seems to be the 2 piston's, allot of play on them.

wondering if the unit can be rebuild.

There is a service kit available. Including the toothed metal ring. After I 'ugraded' mine from the plastic to the metal ring it worked well for two years now...

Let me see what I can arrange next week to get my unit back working,

Might be willing to swop you a single xLoc for that dual.

Assume it's in good working order, is it left or right bar unit ?

I've got a dual I wouldn't mind swapping for a single under-bar left lever as I only use it for my fork.

Working 100%. Its a left unit on top of the bar though.

Yes no...

You get a left hand one that will fit at the top with the signage at the top, if you take the right side one and fit it on the left then it goes at the bottom of the bar, same if you take a left unit and fit it on the right then it goes below.

They mount above or below the bar and act as matchmaker for brake lever

I have a hydraulic Monarch as well, is there any way that I could take off the lock out and still have a working shock?  I don't often use the lockout and find no use in it, would appreciate it if I could get any input on this, thanks.
