Please do. I can't wait to see the pics...

And Decibach thought he would be the first to ride a triplet in SA...

I would love to own a Calfee Design Tetra Convertible Tandem / Triplet. Probably won't get one under R100,000, am I right?

I had a carbon fishing rod before I had a carbon bike. It's weird thinking your riding on fishing rods that together form such a strong structure.

How did they enter for the Argus as the system only allows for "real" tandems and not triplets????????

They didn't it was done via the Fugro office in Cape Town. As Oiltrash stated they were the 1st ever triple to do the Argus.

It was great chatting to the Americans at dinner that night.  The stories they had to share of the day experience were so funny

Skye, in the last pic Oyley posted it looks like a MASSIVE disk brake at the rear...... what is that???????

Big H you are asking the WRONG person. I actually didn't even get to see the bikeAngry. What I do know is he can change it from a std tandem to a triple quite easy. If you are interested in more information let me know and I will make contact with him in the USA.

It's really exciting! I would have thought that it being a first in SA and in the Argus there would have been some coverage on TV or at least in some bicycle mags.

I've never tried fly fishing... Caught a trout once with dough and the coarse method at a trout farm.

I mostly enjoy angling in the surf.  Are the fish as plentiful up in Africa as the wild game?

Yup..... the Cunene is full of plenty!!!!!! Tilapia, African Pike and Yellows. Water still a bit muddy after the floods. I am busy buying a small inflatable duck with a 8hp motor. We are going to Namibe on the Angolan Westcoast on Wednesday till Sunday. Really looking forward to that as I hear the Garrick runs well this time of the year. Will be doing light tackle and flyfishing.

As I have it Calfee ONLY makes bamboo bikes. The couplings can be used for any bike, tandem or half bikes and only cro-moly (again I think) It is called the SS Coupling. I think the bike is a Santana.
