Seeing as the Serie A transfer season officially opened today.

Ramsey is officially a Juve Player too

Rabiot has checked in for his medical and Luca has been confirmed so his medical went well.

I do hope we wrap up all our signings before preseason training begins it is so important for Sarri to have the whole group for season prep.

Looks very likely that Bafana Bafana will qualify for the next round.

That's great.. I haven't been watching much of the AFRCONs..

Note to self - do not watch football as this leads to standing on a freezing field several times a week. Jhb is /^$&$*£ cold right now.

Or to be more precise don't watch football and let young son watch with you. This leads to young son loving football which is all fine and dandy whilst watching on the telly together. However this transcends to said young son now playing school and club football and of course wants football loving mum watching every practice and match.

Did I mention how COLD it is right now on the football field.....

Yep winter sports [emoji300][emoji300][emoji300]

We travel about 45km for the boys club hockey practice..so I can't exactly drop and go to come back as it is a 90km round trip, it is flippen cold next to the astro.

Get him a pair of tights to wear under his shorts and second skin for the upper body and your long fingered cycling gloves may come in handy it they fit... AND don't forget a blanket for yourself, big enough to sit on and cover the knees.. those stands get icy.

He also goes mountain biking with us so luckily he already has tights and top plus his buff.

Thank you for the tips about the blanket. We are just starting out on our journey of sports and children (grade 2) so I appreciate the advice.

Goodness you have quite a long journey .

Well it’s still mathematically possible albeit unlikely.

Za sport in the doldrums of late.

We keep a blanket in every car... that way I don't go "aah shite I forgot the blanket." If we swap cars.

Yep the things you do for your kids but so worth it. [emoji6]

My brother used to travel from jhb to pta almost every day when his son played for Sundowns youth academy.

Enjoy it though it is so awesome to see their love for the sport.

ZA currently 3rd oot of 4 3rd place finishers with 2 groups to be determined today.

If results go their way they qualify, if not they don't.

Guess in the bigger scheme of things they don't actually deserve to qualify....played 3 lost 2 and won 1.

From the lofty days of mark Williams at soccer city to scrounging for a best 3rd place finisher...
