Mostly agree @IceCreamMan.

I also think the Jose would like as many matches as possible to allow him to find a settled system and players. But having said that, I think that Ralph is doing a great job in galvanizing this Saints team and will be confident in continuing a run in a Cup... He is building a good, cohesive team right there.

I’m not so sure that Mourinho will think about FA Cup Final until he has overcome Saints and then Norwich TBH... Well, I certainly ain’t confident yet...

Without a doubt the recent run has been glorious but I suspect the mode is still survival. No one on the south coast is expecting a trophy of any sorts this season ,just to stay up and that goes for all the clubs in the region. Spurs must be more eager for a trophy for sure. Guess we wait n see for the team list next Wednesday to determine the level of want for this.

Hope its on telly here. Could do with a night in the pub, albeit a school night.

Steven Bergwijn has actually been in London since Sunday. He missed the PSV v FC Twente (1:1) game and was chastised by the PSV fans, but he had permission from from the PSV Manager on Sunday morning.

I think this deal is hinges on the Eriksen move to Inter being confirmed.

Just a matter of time then

Eriksen is apparently at Inter HQ to sign final docs (medical done).so just a matter of letting the ink dry.

Never heard of him, will he be the next Luis Suarez or next Vincent Janssen?

I’d really like the Piatek deal to go through... Milan have insisted on not entertaining Spurs’ loan with “option to buy” and instead wanting loan with “obligation to buy”.... I think Piatek can find opportunity in a Spurs system even if Kane returns from injury...

Let’s see how Daniel Levy closes this January Transfer Window...

He has been playing in the Netherlands’ Euro Qualifiers - still a youngster, so I suppose it’s understandable that he isn’t well-known yet... But a pretty good prospect.

Gedson Fernandes was also an unknown till the rumors in this transfer window...

THFC have confirm the sale of Christian Eriksen to Inter Milan - thank you #CE23 for the memories...

Also, THFC have confirmed the permanent transfer of Giovanni Lo Celso from Real Betis, signing the player until 2025... Welcome Gio, and looking forward to great things...

In all fairness, this is as close to a like-for-like transfer with the ages and development stages of the players being a significant difference COYS

Lo Celso really starting to look like a top top prospect... glad to hear the deal is permanent now.

Eriksen will tear it up in the Italian League - it's going to prove to be great business by them I reckon.

Getting nearly 20million isn't too bad either for us, considering a couple weeks ago I was starting feel it would be on a free at the end of the season... he's been kicking his heels for the last year anyway, so it's good to move on.

Now why hasn't a club snapped up Cavani.

He has informed PSG that he would like to leave...suppose they will be difficult with a transfer fee.

Edit

Psg want 20m and seems Atletico is the ideal destination.. okay all I had to do was google a bit.

I do like him, when fit he is absolutely deadly in front of goal..I see why he wants to leave that front 3 of PSG have been on fire lately..mainly because Neynar has been incredible .

Anyhow

Kobe Bryant was a life long Milan fan and loved football, those who didn't know probably know by now that he lived in Italy as a child when his dad played basketball in Italy towards the end of his career..as he said you cut open his one arm and it will bleed black and red, the other arm purple and gold.

Milan will honour him during the coppa game tonight. I wonder if the Ultras made a special banner..their stadium art is often something very special
