A few games that were to be played in Northen Italy were postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak and I see there are talks of postponing all games this upcoming weekend in the hope to stop the spread.. the league is also considering games to be played without fans... it is a very busy time in the football calendar... but public safety just has to come first.

An absolute peach of a finish by Dries Mertens to put Napoli ahead after a well worked counter against Barca...

The game sees Barca with 67% possession, against a very well organized and focused Napoli, who are letting the Spanish side play until the 18yard line - dangerous but effective.

Barca will have to keep their heads and be patient against this solid Napoli side, and especially make sure not to concede again

I was so tired I fell asleep on the couch lol.. kind of woke up when Mertens scored.. (he scores goals like that for fun) and then fell asleep again [emoji1787] from what I can understand Napoli applied good tactics against Barac and could even have won it with some good chances that went astray.. bit a 1-1 is not bad.. pity they conceded the away goal.. but all is def not lost.

Saw the scores this morning... no surprise that Bayern beat Chelsea they have been very good in the CL so far this season. All German teams have been good.. think they have won all games in both CL and EL knockout stages that have been played so far.

Edit after seeing the highlights it looks as if Bayern outclassed chelsea everywhere on the pitch...love team to watch.

Now for tonight.. and I can honestly say I have absolutely no idea how Juve will approach the game, who will start, what formation we will use.. Sarri has been tinkering a lot, so one thing is sure.. we are anything but predictable atm[emoji1787]

I am thinking the team should've called in sick..[emoji17]

Horrendous first half.. let's see if we can at least grab a draw and an away goal[emoji1696]

Well on the plus side... Ramos was sent off in Madrid.

I give up lol.. seems we only like to make things hard for ourselves..aye aye aye..

I'd actually love it if City win the Champions league... screw Uefa and their half baked/half applied rules

Nice read on Gary Nevilles views on FFP... basically put, FFP if applied like Uefa want it, would pretty much just ensure the status quo in football is always maintained. That's anti-competition and anti pretty much everything we love about sport. There is merit in protecting clubs 'from doing a Leeds', but there are better ways to go about it. Chasing money away from the game is not necessary

Whether we agree with the rules or not is actually irrelevant. They are there and the teams should honour them and abide by them. Its not fair on teams that do play according to the rules when others cheat.

Should saints now field 15 players in a game that would be illegal and immediately sanctioned, the same should apply to all rules. If city are guilty they should be sanctioned.

Teams are also involved in the rule making process and City accepted these to ply by.
