I am in Stellenbosch. My plan is to take it to the LBS on Saturday and let them get creative with the bike. They will also need to change the BB to a GXP one for me and fix a brake line + bleed the brakes.

If they are unable to get the caliper mounted then I guess I am stuffed. 

Would it be worth it to just get another 26er wheel then? I measured it and it was 135mm.

I'm running a cassette, so that hub won't work. I've got someone bringing me one from CRC next month.

 

Could probably pick up a cheap 26" wheel in the classifieds.

 

I'm certain I could sort it out with some spacers. Let's hope your LBS is willing to give it a go. It's not worth spending money on really.
