Matuka Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 A few weekends back I did a great ride out from Dullstroom on the De Berg Road passed Verloren valei to Steenkamspberg pass. When you hit the tar road of Steenkampsberg pass and head left towards Roosenekal about 500m from the turn there is a tarred road heading up to the right which goes to what looks like a mast/ antenna. The gate is locked but I saw quite a few riders heading up there. The sign doesn't say no trespassing only that if stopped by the owner you must identify yourself. I'm curious if anyone has any info about this? It looks like a nice climb to the top but I'm wary of trespassing, is there some kind of deal with the land owner or are people just taking chances? Trying to avoid being shot on my next ride.
