[/quote']The normal Quartz will be available in black, white and red for 2009. I should have the first batch in about 2/3 months. Blue....not yet....but you never know. I will have a chat with the guys....and tell them there's people asking for it.

The problem is that shoe is pressing on the wires that you?re clipped into.  So the main wear area is between the wire and the sole of your shoe, around the cleat.  So they have a reputation of eating shoes.  

 

With a SPD, which is really a pain in mud, the main wear interface is between the metal cleat and the top of the pedal. The smarties and candies are better because at the outer thread of tyhe shoe has something to push on thereby taken pressure of the sole around the cleat.   <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I certailnly wouldn't, but we usually run out of stock on the Eggbeater 4ti and Eggbeater 2ti first. We always have back orders for both models
