Buying on Bike Hub

The deal is negotiated between the buyer / seller.

Best to follow common sense and if it seems to good to be true it normally is.

Cash is king, goods should be inspected in a public space with lots of people around. I use my local police station. Works super well and scares off the bullshitters quite quickly.

Don't accept "an EFT and Ill send a courier" scenario. Check out this section and familiarise yourself with the scams - https://www.bikehub.co.za/f/59-safety-awareness/

I've dealt with others on trust and EFT in advance - no problems to date but you need to use common sense a wised up to scammers.

Cash is actually a PIA for me, buyer or seller.

I have dealt with a lot of guys on the hub and 99.9% happy I don't like public places cause if something is wrong how do you get that person again.

Same with people collecting from me so any problem you know where to find me.

I think most guys and girls on here are equal bike enthusiasts and if you use common sense your buying and selling on here will be a great experience.

O and to answer your questions yes you pay the other party directly. Cash or eft I have never had a problem.
