TRP SLATE T4 ,ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE ON THESE BRAKES. CONSIDERING THEM FOR TANDEM .HUGE PRICE DIFFERENCE COMPARE TO SAINT

Everyone I know who has them loves them and for the price it's a steal. Most people I know use them on aggressive trail / enduro type bikes and have been very impressed. Even some comments that would hurt the feelings of the Hope fans on here as well.

I had a pair on my Reign. The feel is great and the adjustability is great. But they do lack outright power compared to other brakes in the class.

 

The factory bleed isn't amazing so I'd do a little lever bleed pretty much out the box.

 

I'm not sure I'd get them for a tandem because of the lack of outright power.

 

If you want MASSIVE power from a brake look at Formula Cura. OMG!!

Quadiems for a tandem. At 3.5k they won't break the bank either.

I have Quadiums and Slate, both uses Saint brake pads. For braking power on a tandem I would stick to Quadium though.
