Cracked Shimano Piston

My Shimano SlX piston has cracked in the caliper and it must be replaced.

 

Any advice if spares exist or if I must try to get an old 2nd hand one and cannibalize spares from it or just buy a new caliper.

 

Advice or spares will be appreciated.

get one out of another caliper , highly doubt you'll get them loose

You will have to use 2nd hand ones as spares are not available.  You should be able to pop the piston out with compressed air.

I will have a look tomorrow  (Friday 2nd). May have a SLX caliper I took off due to cracked mounting lug, but otherwise still good.

You can buy the calipers on their own or if you looking for used you can use any shimano 1 they all will work.
