Hi everyone

I have a 29er mtb 1x12 speed. I'm looking to get a smart trainer that will be compatible. Any suggestions?

Wheel on or off?

Wheel off you might have to get a NX cassette, or one that doesn't require an XD driver.

Wheel on for MTB = LOUD

I have a giant trainer and it works with 29er perfectly but on some of the high end makes they don't I had to cut move and weld the bracket on a cycle ops 1 for a buddy.

Definitely a full slick got mine for the master of the house and she used it once with a nobby and I said never again it drove me mad.

Wheel off. Looking at the CycleOps H2. It doesn't come with a casette. So do I just get a 12 speed casette? Sorry i am not ver up to date with these things..

I'm sure a 12spd sunrace cassette should work (11-50).

Check with the guys at bicyclepower they know their stuff and are very helpful. (they are at bike fest at the moment so might not respond immediately, just be patient I'm sure they'll respond by Wednesday latest)
