Now that we live in America and celebrate Halloween and Black Friday, I'm convinced we are being hoaxed. I'm sure there are some deals but this sort of thing seems to be the norm - Black Friday Assos deal the same price as I bought from Marz a few weeks ago. Same applies to some IT stuff I was looking at. Black Friday in one store is normal in another. I wish I could find the article but last year I read that on a basket of goods, BF costs consumers 11% more than normal. We get lured in by one deal and slapped buy others with shiny black Friday tags. Beware, do your homework

Exactly right. All year round there are specials with the same prices (sometimes better) than black Friday. After Xmas clearance sales, Easter specials, owners birthday, priced to go blah blah blah.

 

Assos and Castelli always on "special" to name a few. Sure there are some good deals but they generally all over the place all year round if you just spend a bit of time looking.....
