eddy Posted December 9, 2018 Share Which airline ? As a rule, pack it in as small a cardboard box as the bike will fit (remove wheels, pedals and swing handlebars out of the stem), ensure that box is the only luggage he has and that it weighs less than 20kg. Check it in as his allowed luggage. Has worked for me on all domestic carriers I have flown.
Me rida my bicycle Posted December 9, 2018 Share Just make sure he insures it and that the value is correct. As Eddy said most domestic flights don't have a problem as long as it's boxed and under 20kg.
