Prince Albert Cycles Posted February 6, 2019 Share My local customer wheels his 10 year old Gary Fischer dual 29er into the shop with tears in his eyes. Both the chainstay and the linkage has cracked . The customer cycles in the heavyweight division . Expecting not being able to find replacement parts he goes and buys another bike because the Desert Dash was around the corner .With little hope I approach TREK SA ( TREK took over Gary Fischer , I learned on this hub.)A quick response from Shaun Mileson from TREK. Pse send photos , which I did.Quick again I received a list of the parts required with part numbers and prices. But , said Shaun I need to buy from a TREK dealer . Having met Chris from BEST Bikes earlier on a visit to Prince Albert I approached him.Again , nothing difficult . Invoice sent , paid and parts ordered from USA.And said Shaun , If the customer can provide proof of payment , he will submit a warranty claim .
