I am servicing my fuel ex5 2017 front fork lower leg for the first time. Now rockshox manual state 6ml 15wt each side.now when droping out the oil i messure 25ml one side and like 2 oil drops other side and i mean really like just 2 drops.does that sound right?i search from 2016 to 2019 and all says 6ml each side. I have a sektor RL silver 130mm boost shock. Thanks

Couple of possibilities: - If the larger amount of oil came out of the damper side it is possible that the damper is leaking into the lower.

If the fork has been serviced before the technician may have used the Fox oil volumes by mistake.

I always bump up the oil to 10 ml per side in spite of the Rockshox warnings not to as most of the forks I come across are not serviced as often as they should be.  I also use Fox float fluid in the air piston as well as Fox Gold in the lowers.

Oil clinging to the inside of the fork lowers, shafts or migrated past seals or Sheikh in Middle East asked for his oil back. This is why we service these puppies. Your damper will probably need to be topped up as well and maybe check seals, make sure you get the oil volumes right.

10cc a side works fine in RS forks, just make sure you've cleaned the lowers out properly before reassembly.

And if your foam rings are dirty, replace wipers. Not just foam rings.

If your damper has lost a significant amount of oil you'll notice a dead spot in the compression or squelchy noises. But on a RS fork it's simple enough to rebuild with a few tools and the service manual, so go mad.
