Amazon - buying from here for someone in USA

Hey Guys

My daughter who is working in the States in Florida has a birthday in a couple of days and I need to buy her a gift.

Anyone know if you can order on Amazon, pay from here or pay-pal and have it delivered to her home address ?

I have never tried online or amazon type shopping

Hi Landy,

Yes. I've done exactly that, coincidentally to Florida as well. I paid by card, but I'm 100% sure paypal will work exactly the same.

It's as simple as specifying her address as the delivery address - it also opens up a much wider selection of products using her US adres.

How quick is delivery considering I have 1,5 days left

Like v12man says, it depends on the seller. If I were you, I'd only filter for results that are "sold by Amazon" and obviously only order an item in stock. Once you proceed with checkout, you'll be prompted by a screen giving delivery options and estimated times - not sure if there is same/day next day delivery as I've never needed the option, but there is expedited (not sure if it makes a diff though)

Within the day or next morning if Amazon fulfills the order<-- be sure that Amazon is the supplying party, otherwise you might be late

Easy enough to try eBay also, especially if you have a PayPal account. Just sort the delivery address before you pay.

Check the delivery date, whether Amazon or eBay

PS: check too where the shipper is, sometimes they're in Florida, so a day by UPS

Do it all the time for my relatives in UK and Aus'. Also did it when my brother was working in LA for a couple fo years. Pretty flawless and if you have Prime (I am subscribed for the TV) you can get a lot of items on same day delivery if you're the end of guy who leaves the present buying a little 'late'.

I want to click on the Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card as it looks like a free card with no hidden costs and they offer $50 off the item I want to buy.

Anyone used this add on safely without any hidden costs if I don't plan on using it again/much ?

Edit: i merely seem to have to enter my daughters address and USA cell number so far in the process

Ok, now it asked for social security number, think im going to have to bail on that idea

Thats weird. I’ve ordered from sites in the US and had them delivered there without having to get that personal.
