I got a bike today, and ive encountered a very strange issue. The seat is held down with 2 bolts, but instead of both bolting down from the bottom, the front one bolts down top to bottom. Theres no way i can get any normal allen key in there. How the hell do i take the seat off? Theres almost no clearance under the seat.

Wow, some bike manufacturers really just want to make your life so much harder. Ill find an old allen key and grind it i guess.

Get the correct size Allen key bit, from the the sets with short hex drive bits, dime a dozen.

Put the bit into the bolt head and then get a spanner or shifter and use that on the hex drive end of the bit to loosen the bolt.

There is a knurled bolt between the front saddle rails.

You loosen all tension on the back bolt, then roll the knurled bolt with your thumb to loosen it.
