Compatible ratios on 12 speed MTBs

If the Frame is non boost you could be in luck because the stays are narrower. Will need to check how beefy the bridge area behind the BB is and then you'll likely want the chainring in the middle position. You got some pics?

I'll post more pics if needs be, but it's pretty generic...

 

It's as wide as most regular 29r's that support up to 2.4" wide knobby tyres - I'm running 700x40c on there now...

 

It's possible for me to convert to a 36 or 38t narrow wide on the 104 bcd mount or 64 bcd - maybe I'll try that first using one of these : https://bike-addict.co.za/collections/chainrings-1/products/absolute-black-narrow-wide-chainring won't have to change anything else and less risk of issues on the chain...

Yikes you don't have much more space for a bigger middle ring. 38T maybe tops. After That you're going to have to get creative by perhaps spacing the larger inward toward the middle position. Going to need some long chainring bolts and spacers. Try Kalbo.co.za
