gemmerbal Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Ja look, a 2x with 11-36 is probably enough for most. I needed to replace my cassette and thought what the hell, lets see what this 1x business is all about. I cannot complain as of yet, that 11-46 wide ratio 10spd cassette is enough to deal with most scenarios. The jumps in the bottom half of the cassette is roughly the same as a 11-36 and the jumps up top is not as big as with 11 or 12 spd cassettes. The oval also kind of feels like its a bit easier to push a slightly heavier gear if i find myself in between gears. It was still cheaper than any of the “sale” upgrade kits. Should have just kept the sodding 11-36 cassette and got a bit fitter/skinnier....!
