Be careful on Sundays though. It's very busy and dusty, and your car could end up stolen. If it's between mtb'ers and KTMs: mtb'ers will end up 2nd best.

I ride on my own as I'm usually busy at weekends. This weekend I'll be in Durban but I'll try join you on 5 july .... I can see Karaglen from my kitchen and remember O'Hagans well!!

If it's between mtb'ers and KTMs: mtb'ers will end up 2nd best.[/quote'] a good place to park is at the engen(?) garage on new modder road. it's where all the mx and quad guys park. pocketbikes left his vito there on the june 16 ride, and it was where he had left it when we got backotherwise, just park at northmead square. it's about a kay and a half of tar before you hit the trails. that way you've got a nino's for post-ride wraps and brews Where is Putfontein? It would be really nice to have a once-a-week MTB race fairly close to home. I still miss Mintek. Head down the N12 towards witbank... more directions when you give me those wheels... Hell' date=' gimme the whole CX bike...[/quote'] hahaha - tell you what: give me directions and I'll let you have a spin once I get there. jules, you should hook up with the dirty habits/pro cycles group on saturday afternoons at 2. they often head out to putfontein (birthplace of charlize, people!) or do the minedump-murray park loop. just a note on putfontein. i've heard customers tell me that they've had some issues on the putfontein route. some farmers don't seem to take too kindly to two-wheeled visitors, and neither do their dogs. so be careful out there. it ain't delmas, but there are some strange people out that way?holy roller2008-06-23 21:54:50
