Riding with no cycling computers and fancy power meter, do you support it and why do you do it?

I just got tired off trying to beat the PB and  stats in general. For me it's about riding to enjoy, to know your body and still race hard without the gadgets telling us to slow down.  Ride how you feel!

I did a stint for about a year where I rode with nothing but an old cycle computer telling me time and distance and then my phone in my pocket recording everything else, but I never looked at it, just kept it for record purposes.

Was very liberating and I enjoyed my riding more.

Well a garmin would look a bit out of place on the bicycle you have in the classifieds right now.

I've been cycling serious since 2000 so for last 5 years no stats no info and I feel less attched by what my computer tells me to do.

I cycled to school when I was young, on a old "Dikwiel" bicycle, back then was young and strong. I used to race the sponsored guys from the mining companies back then on my way home.

For sure. I do have both Road and 29er full suspension carbon bicycles. Just keep it simple.
