Epic sprint finish there. Happy everyone stayed upright.

What do we say about Sagan nudging WvA out of the way? Only an issue if someone falls?

Yeah I am expecting trouble for that hey..[emoji2356]

Didn’t look like Sagan was off form today...

There is fight in him always is.. very smart tactics by Bora leading up to it... sending a rider up the road like that.. stretching the leadout men like that.

They've been discussing that on eurosport here... And also wondering that

Well he may get away with it as he dodged the foot of the barrier as well...but yeah they will be looking at it...that may be deemed as a little too aggressive [emoji2356]

Ja, we are asking for consistency. Will be interesting if they do decide to sanction.

I honestly don't know what you should do there. Abandon your sprint if there is no clear path?

Unless I missed something I didn’t see him avoiding anything, it just looked like a guy trying really hard lost balance a bit, corrected and bumped the guy next to him. I also don’t think it had an impact on the result, but it didn’t look good and isn’t ideal.

The barriers slightly narrowed there is a barrier foot there....I saw it cause I looked for it[emoji6]

But there is trouble coming IMO... it was too aggressive

We lauded Ackerman for threading the needle at stage 1 of TA, what if the gap is a little bit too small, can you push someone aside...?

Weird situation, no-one was hurt, but there was a clear push.

There wasn't a gap there, so Sagan should arguably not have been allowed to go through there, called off his run to the line, finished 4th?

I don't know, no clear solution here. Best for all is maybe a verbal warning to all of the riders to not do it again?

I guess it'll be viewed as a racing incident unless Wout's team appeals.

He was taking evasive action as the leg of the barrier was a risk.

Fortunately, Wout stayed upright and no one was injured.

EDIT: I guessed wrong. Sagan relegated to last position in peloton. 'Dangerous manoeuvre'. Fair outcome. Again, fortunately no one got hurt.

Yep they have to be consistent..it hurts as a Sagan fan and will hurt him.. but safety has to come first.. Edited by Gen
