mpf4929 Posted January 31, 2020 Share Hi guys, I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed an incident which occurred 9- 9.30AM Saturday 11th Jan '20. Beautiful bright sunny still morning in Cape Town. Location Cape Town Southern Peninsula M4 between Millers Point & CastleRock where 2 cyclists heading towards Cape Point were once nearly run off the road, and then actually run off the road by the same truck in 2 incidents. THe truck in questions is a 7.5 tonner coloured back/ yellow & operated by Gourmet Foods in Cape Town [a simple google search shows the trucks]. This is unlikely of material help to your case, but I had an unnecessarily close shave with a Gourmet Foods truck on the same road, around the same time this Saturday (ie it's likely the same delivery route and same driver). Aside from what may or may not come of the police case, I'd encourage you to contact Gourmet foods and discuss their driver being negligent and, in your case, aggressive.
