Road tyres on 29" MTB rims

Used to use a set of 700 c Road rims built onto mtb disc brake hub on my mtb back in the 26er days.

today its easier. You just swap the road tyres onto your 29er wheels. Done

lowers the bb height but there's still enough clearance to pedal around corners

Yeah I have a pair of gators on some giant PXC2 29 wheels and little hassle... It's on a disk brake road/adventure bike... The giant rims were already in hand and a little lighter than the stock Alex set the bike came with... It's working!
