The build is looking as follows: Frame: arriving this week, first one in SA ...Fork: Pace RC39 100mm Headset: Ritchey Press Fit ProStem: Tek 99G Carbon Wrapped 31.8Bar: either prototype Carbon 31.8 x 600mm or Easton MonkeyLite XCGrips: either WTB Moto-Tec Lock-ons or Titec Pork RindsGear Cables: Unex SleekGlide Silver Braided with Teflon Inner CablesShifters: Sram XO TriggersBrakes: Avid Juicy UltimatesRotors: Unex Windcutter 160mm Std FinishSeatpost: Easton EC70 0 Degree Offset 30.9mm....Saddle: WTB Rocket V SLT TitaniumFront Derailleur: Shimano XTRear Derailluer: 08 Sram XOCassette: Sram PG-990Crankset: Truvativ Noir Carbon 175mm pimped with A2Z Red Alloy BoltsPedals: Crank Brothers Candy C or Look QuartzChain: Sram PC-91 Rims: Stans Olympic 32HHubs: Ringle Disc-O-Flea or A2Z XC Race when they arrive....Spokes: DT Supercomp BlackNipples: DT Alloy SilverTyres: WTB Vulpine 2.1 with Stans SealantOther: A2Z Red Alloy Headset Spacers This will be Phase 1, hoping to still shed some Grams as parts become available .... They don't have,been down thisroad before.You will learn how to service them yourself,very easy.Had 2 rc39 and you have to service them every couple of rides,even less in winter.In the end i got gatvol and sold them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stringbean Posted June 29, 2008 Share For bars and sems i would look at the kcnc stuff.they will be lighter and cheaper than what you are looking at,also your crank is not too light,about the same as XT only more expensive.What weight are you trying to get at?
