First PIVOT MACH 4 in South Africa!

Yes, plan was to use the wheels off the Mongoose but they turned out heavier than my current TEK XCR wheels. The TEK wheels are 1530g, white powdercoated rims, bladed aero spokes and trick RED nipples to match all the red going on with the frame - so it was a no-brainer.

Hoping to get a set of the new ZTR Race 7000 wheels as soon as they land in SA!!!! 1,21kg and next step in tubeless wheel technology!

How can your ZTR wheels be that heavy? My ZTR 355 (29'er) wheels weigh 1555?

The rims are light but Mongoose chose to build the wheels with Straight Guage Spokes ( Confused ) .... rest of the build is Ringle Hubs, Alloy nipples ...

I have a set of ZTR Race 7000's arriving next week. Problem solved!

You're gonna have to mount a mudflap to your water bottle!! Tongue

I might have to, but the bigger frame sizes will not have to.

Those wheels would look good on one of these Thumbs%20Up

And they may be pretty soon. Currently ride 1 of Chris other bikes, a custom Ti Racer-X 29'er. Gonna be interesting to see how this 29'er rides.

Bike was awesome!!!!! The 4"travel setup feels like alot more ..... a characteristic of the DW-Link .....and has a XC/racer geometry which just feels right. The DH's were a blast and I ended up running the bike with Pro Pedal OFF the whole ride - there is no need for it!

Still want to experiment with setup pressures on the rear shock, but first impressions are really really good!
