Medium , Large, X-large frames come with Bottle Cage mounts in the front triangle - smaller frames have to go with the bottom of the Downtube ... Option 2 is the Seatpost mounted type which I hope to get soon. Besides, nothing wrong with using a hydration pack for the longer rides! This is the start, I have plans for phase 2 .....

Hog_ Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 That'll work, although I have issues with seatpost mounted cages: No matter what you do, the bottle opening is either pointing at your ass or at your crotch I think you should look at what's easiest to get to as well, no use building this great XC bike if you have to stop to get the bottle out of the cage without falling off the bike.
