jason is the guy that runs the advertising and distribution of garmin sa he is also one of the guys that is involved with the garmin pro MTB team he is always busy and never has time for anybody thats why you cant get ahold of him and also why the distributors for the sports side of garmin have changed hands 5 times this year so far

Ahhhh so that explains it as to why the problem has become the consumers? OK Garmin all is forgiven, sorry I didn't realize that Jason was busy and all the rest of us are not.

Hey PB at least I got 'one stone' (of course depends how hard DR is kicking Sunday!), seems you may end up 'stone-less' after this ...........

thats cool.......i am just angry that when i bought my unit the salesman who was at Cape union Mart never asked me what fone I had, he knew, after i told him, that my intention was to use the bluetooth mobile feature extensively....garmins immedaite response to my fauklt was, thanks for buying the unit, but sorry for you your phone isn't supported, check this website for further info ....blah blah blah .... they must put it on their pretty little boxes that the units only support some of the bluetooth phone features, let alone support the fone itself.....

 

some navigation might be needed here:

 

Stick Garmin up bum, turn left and twist in 3 meters .... oh sorry, turn right in 3 meters ... bleep

yeah i know, i also got a 60CSx ... that one worked so well .... bought it in Malaysia ..... great service there, even went to the Garmin dudes house :)  offered me dinner too :) hehehehe

 

neverthless lets see what happens if i get mine back ... just now i will be told, oh sorry, your car is not supported ;)

Muxie, I agree I can't change my words, but...

 

You get great service from waiter "A" at Steers "B" and recommend them to me. I go to Steers X and get served buy a trainer. I will not be happy, but you were.

 

The initial fault and misunderstanding was on my side. I got Jason confused with Nathan. When I reported all the great service, I was always at their counter and dealt with Nathan or Jaco. I thought you had dealt with Nathan, hence me putting my nuts on the line. I wouldn't have done it if I "knew" it was someone else. Customer service comes from the staff not the company, and I can and will put my nuts one the line (1: If I have any left after your forgiveness or 2: after my transplant) if you deal with these 2 guys.

my problem is being handled well.... i won't need to call you thanks Jason.

 

Suggestion: give the people a number where they can get help and problems solved everyday, this shouldn't be a favour only helpline that is run for one day only like some of the hifi corp specials ... thanks

No worries, i have the following guys that will be able to assit with issues.

Marc@avnic.co.za, abrie@avnic.co.za and dewald@avnic.co.za, these are for day to day how to's and advice. For technical support on e-mail please use etienne@avnic.co.za. If everybody could please mail then in there person capacity as our mail filters will block the group mails. For telephone suport, you can call Marc on 0825750100 or Dewald on 0825750267, i am not sure if they will come to your houses and provide food, the best i could ask for is to resolve any issue or just to ahve achat if you need one. orur national Share call number is 0861 Garmin.

unacceptable, they must be able to provide steers burgers, PB said that steers burgers were on the cards , he did, he did ....
