Frosty Posted January 5, 2021 Share All CSA sanctioned events have been placed on hold until the lockdown level changes to a similar level as we knew as level 1. Danger Dassie
bleedToWin Posted January 5, 2021 Share Cant really compare IM events to road races with groups of 100+ all together.100+ is really only CTCT.Winelands can easily make groups of 50 and keep start groups separated. My start group at Paarl Cycle Tour 2020 was 55 large, and that was without an incentive to minimize group sizes... I mean it. I definitely don't, especially as it 100% isn't necessary. 20 is too many, even 10 strangers in that scenario is too many DieselnDust, ChrisF, Veebee and 1 other
Shebeen Posted January 5, 2021 Share I entered this on the 3rd of november, with a glass half full mindset. I think there's a 25% chance it will go aheadeven if that happens, I doubt I'll ride it. I don't expect any money back, PPA are doing all they can, so all credit to them. Danger Dassie and mikkelz

But on the topic of transmission risk during cycling:I've only seen transmission reported for outdoor sports where there is direct and frequent contact, i.e. defender and attacker being in each others face for prolonged periods.
