Used an MTB with Zwift until recently. What you keen on finding out? 

 

Just make sure you don't use an MTB tyre, but a training one.   Crazy noisy otherwise

you will be short on gearing but other than that all good. We run a 1x11 XT mtb with an 11 speed road cassette and it worked perfectly. Needed an adapter for the 142x12 axle. Locked forks out properly.
