keith Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Hey guys is spending approx R270 on new shimano spd pedals for my first mtb a good idea? Or should I save and get better? I'm planning on getting the cheap Olympic mtb shoes to go with. Am I making the wrong decision by going 'cheap' per say? Thanks!

Tromps Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 The best enry level on the market. I still have a pair of Olympic shoes. Running on XT SPD Pedals. but they are basically the same as the SPD 540/520. Just the weight.
