Garmin Connect phone app

Hi all

 

I have been using garmin connect and the fone app on an apple iphone for some time. I also have a premium training peaks account. Since day before yesterday after a garmin connect update on the fone app I am no longer seeing hr data.Not for me or any of my connections. HR data is recording and is displayed on training peaks. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still the same problem. Any ideas how to fix this?

Roll the update back if you can - if it was working before, this should solve it  unless the problem lies elsewhere.

Also check the Garmin forums - if it is an update issue someone will most likely have identified it and possibly have a fix.

If you follow these steps you should be able to get it back? Go to edit my day at the bottom of the screen. Then either select what you want to see on the Home Screen or choose restore.

I had a look on the garmin forums and the same issue is experienced by many others also after the recent update. apparently garmin is working on the problem to release a bug fix new update.unsure as to timeline.

I’m still using iPhone 8 and I’ve not done the latest iOS update either I guess that is the reason why mine still works

is your problem on the dashboard screen, or missing in the activity?

is it only new activities added, or on previous activities too?

If it’s in TrainingPeaks, I wouldn’t worry too much. Garmin Connect is good for uploading and distributing the data to other apps, like TP. For me, as long as it appears in TrainingPeaks > WKO5 as well as Intervals.icu then I’m happy.

What iOS version did you upgrade to?

it is on all activities including those of my connections.on the app of my connections it shows normal

hi guys just feedback. all sorted and all hr data back on fone app after garmin had an update last night.
