It rubbed against the rear brake hose just deep enough that you can feel it with your nail

can’t see another explaination, especially since the offset has been very stable since. I’m sure there a world where you can reset the unit on the current state of the crank, but stages just told me to put it in rice basically 😜

If I could transfer it to my spare crank arm that is brand new that would be cool but doubt they can move it from the one to the other…

So power2max spider you say ? There’s a 2nd hand one on the hub. What should I check ? It looks like it has a few hours…

That power2max full crank is brand new and still under warranty though… but it would suck to find out it doesn’t fit

Rotor not option, I had a unit for less than 6 months, battery cap was the crapiest design ever, it enventually stopped working and warranty was voided because of that cap. Plus it was over reading big time, making the next couple of years a challenge having to accept the fact I wasn’t ask strong as I thought 😜😜

well the P2M if a whole crank would need to have a longer axle for 55mm chain line and I don't think they have that as an option yet.

If a spider it would need to have the Hollowgram mounting interface which is very different from the RAM and Race Face interfaces. You'll need to check this.

PS: although the groove could influence how the crank twists I doubt it would give you wildly erratic readings. It looks likes yours is a GEN2 or 3 unit which shouldn't have water ingress issues mine has worked perfectly through several wet races) so it may be something else

To stick with 172.5 cranks really means Rotor or keep the crank and fit a P2M. P2M gets my vote everytime

@DieselnDustyour thoughts on this ?

https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/power-meters/595098/power-2-max-ng-cannondale-powermeter-boost

the pattern doesn't match exactly the pattern here :

https://csixx.com/products/tt-chainring-cannondale-si (because of the two flat sections), but not exactly sure how the inside of the driveside crankarm looks like exactly..

Edit : mmmh it is the right one tho : https://www.bicyclepower.co.za/collections/power2max/products/power2max-ngeco-mtb-cannondale-power-meter-ai

The Si and SiSL cranks have the 2 flats so that is the correct PM.

I have not seen an interface like the Csixx uses

PS: Checked teh Cannondale website and found the gravel chainrings have the same interface as the Csixx rings so I'm not sure which model Hollowgram those are intended to fit. Will dig deeper
