wlalberts Posted November 7, 2022 Share Hi what would be the better option a good 2nd hand Specialized e-bike or a new Scott e-bike? Or which one is the best option as a new bike
Grease_Monkey Posted November 7, 2022 Share The Bosch motors in the Scott ebikes are mint. Brands aside, for an e-bike I am always going to advise new over second hand purely due to the warranty you have on a new bike. Paul Ruinaard
Pieterlab1 Posted November 7, 2022 Share I have a Spez Levo and a Creo and I would buy Specailized again. But the new Scott and Trek ebikes are very nice.
Delarey Posted November 7, 2022 Share That's fair, but it does seem that the risk is priced into ebike second hand prices (in general). Mtb's have horrendous depreciation rates and ebikes are even worse. Buying new gives peace of mind, but you are also lighting quite a bit of cash on fire.. ChrisF Posted November 7, 2022 Share Giant has some nice options as well. Darrvin really has thee best bang for the buck at the moment !! Available directly from Darrvin, or from Evobikes. Pieterlab1

What the man said.` Ebikes break a lot more and cannot easily be repaired.
Me rida my bicycle Posted November 7, 2022 Share If I had to buy a e-bike now it would be Orbea for looks or Trek.
