[Event] The 36ONE MTB Challenge

That was quite the adventure! It made last years Around the Pot seem dry 😂

Longest race to date and my first time riding though the night so maybe the excitement took my mind off the conditions a bit. I did it on a gravel bike so took a beating on the rough stuff which was way more abundant than I expected. All in all extremely happy with how the race went.

Superb job by Dryland for putting together another great event.

Chapeau for doing it on a gravel bike. I can't even imagine how hard that was. It was my impression that rooiberg descent was a little less rocky than last year but I haven't heard anyone else say this.

Still it was plenty tough ... And bloody cold on that descent too.

In my opinion these were the best road conditions in years (apart from being wet).  Even the Rooiberg descent was recently graded.

Solo Winner was 2 hours 20 minutes slower than last year, so don't feel too bad about my slow tour.
