Andreas_187 Posted April 2, 2023 Share what countries is the subscription limited to, the reason I ask is because the Opera browser has a free VPN built in. I think you can select US or Europe Edited April 2, 2023 by Andreas_187

But I have a lot to learn of these things .... you didn’t understand what i was saying. You need a subscription to GCN+ plus a VPN to be able to sign up and watch it. The Opera browser has a free VPN built in. ChrisF
Frosty Posted April 2, 2023 Share You only need a VPN to watch certain races on GCN+, not all. de Ronde Paris-Roubaix The Tour La Vuelta Look at the SA calendar, and if the event doesn’t show, you need the VPN connection. A VPN also hides your IP address from hackers. If you’ve filled in online forms, you might find that they are collecting your IP address too. The VPN hides this behind an encrypted server. Not sure about the Opera VPN, and might be worth checking. I had one before NordVPN and I could watch Hulu, HBO and other US shows, as it picked up I was using a VPN. Do you run the vpn always, or just for those geo-blocked events ? Do you set up the vpn just on this box, or for your whole house ?

I know you can set it up on you router ... but i prefer the simpler route. I dont want the vpn running at all times. it affects internet speed, browsing, shopping etc. ChrisF
