Good idea. It can be done quite easily by creating sub-forums.

 

 

 

My thought is to first split up "Wanted" and "For sale" then within items for sale have further sections.

 

 

 

The "Notice Board" section could be expanded as follows:

 

 

• Notice Board

• For Sale
  • Bikes
  • Wheels
  • Components
  • Accessories

• Wanted
• General Notices
• Group Rides

I'm not sure whether the classifieds sections (in bold) should be in a completely separate section (e.g. have Classifieds and Notice Board).

 

Please give your suggestions on the structure and categories to include.

 

Side note: The forum isn't an ideal platform for classified ads. I know there are some issues and have been suggestions of a member rating system (and others) to help potential buyers and sellers. I'm on the lookout for a "proper" classifieds setup which will provide these features and can be integrated with the current site.

Thx a million Admin.  I respect your view regarding the classifieds, but let's face it, so many good deals have taken place and there are many many honest people on the hub.  I currently use this hub solely as the place of seeing what is for sale. In summery..THE HUB RULES!!!
