Using it on my trainer for now and its very nice tho, pity about the crack.

CPA protects second hand buyers as well.. but I’m not sure how you’ll prove he knew about the crack.. 🤷🏼‍♂️ sorry man.!

Looking at the bike I would rather ask for my money back.

At least then you know what it would cost, and can weigh up your options.

 

Any other 2nd hand bike comes with its bag of unknowns ....

 

 

 

And what price do you expect to get for a cracked carbon frame ..... repairing it may be the best way forward.

 

I have personal experience with carbon repairs by CBR. They are top notch.

I have seen seat stays broken through completely, were repaired by CBR, and still held up 4 years post repair(not my bike).

Do not write carbon repairs off before checking with James Perry.

I would ride a repaired carbon frame before doing so a repaired alu frame.
