I'm growing quite fond of the WM videos. Great job you two. Enjoy the energy. ✌️

Helluva interesting interview. I've felt with Sterling (the OG) a few times and found him nothing short of gentlemanly and interesting. Have no recollection of interfacing with SJ, but have to admit that the negative sentiments here have – stupidly – skewed my perception of the individual and the store.

The interview gives me a fresh perspective, thank you for that. We structured, good questions and considered responses. Thumbs up.

I really appreciated SJ's perspective on supporting local, for all the right reasons, but could not help myself chuckling at the disaster that my nearest bicycle store/mechanic. So, er, in principle I agree with SJ on that point, but it appears exceptions exist and services and parts/kit purchases require a lengthy drive or the internet (via an SA bike shop, which, SJ will be pleased to hear, frequently involves a Specialized store). And one hundred points, along with huge respect, for employing and advancing a human with humble beginnings.

Interesting that SJ talks fondly about his positive interactions with JOC, i feel like the crew at JOC are the most friendliest, helpful in cape town at the moment.

In the end, bike shop owner reputation's are only as good as the crew they employ running sales and the workshop.

I feel like staff turnover in sales and workshop at Revolution has been a huge driver behind some of the -ve commentary they have rec'd on this platform.
