Hi hubbers, so I recently moved from PTA to Durbanville. I've spend some time to explore some of the more popular routes and riding locations and overall the experience has been great! I am not at a point where I would like to plan my rides around some of the lekker bakeries and coffee spots in the area.

So my question: Which coffee shops and bakeries do you recommend and prefer stopping at during your rides? Places that accommodate cyclist and just generally has a lekker pasty and flat white.🥐

I can highly recommend the new Super Sconto Italian Deli at Devonbosch (at the end of Bottelary road), open 7 days a week. Italian sarmies just hit differently.
The Brickfields Cafe that's there is also very nice but sadly they're not open on a Sunday.

Bootleggers Durbanville and Bootleggers Clara Anna. Also The Pepper Tree in Philadelphia or just a bit further up the road, De Werf food market.

Toeka at Brahms - Toeka stoor & coffee shop | Domaine Brahms Wineries

Banhoek Farmstall (just after the top of Hellshoogte) - Home - Banhoek

Both of these are nice venues where non-cycling family can meet up with you.  Play areas for kids, etc.

PS - The owner of Banhoek farmstall is a keen cyclist, they take good care of us !!

PPS - Banhoek farmstall is working hard at getting their license to sell beer .... a small fortune and 18 months later ....
