Commenting, to see if there are some banter on this event. Given that it is sold out there is not much about it on bikehub (or did I miss the thread?)
ajnkzn Posted May 27 Posted May 27 (edited) I see that they've had to change Day 1 from the epic drop off the escarpment to a route from Champagne Sports to Emseni, due to the Foot and Mouth outbreak in cattle in KZN. Bleak but understandable if one wants to avoid hundreds of MTB tyres tracking contaminants from one farm to another. I assume that the day will be similar to the last day of Go2Berg, but in reverse. As far as I am aware it sounds like stage one will be a loop due to the increasing risk of foot and mouth decease in the area.
