I got onto this incredible story https://mmbhof.org/stan_koziatek/

This guy did so much to reduce the hassle of punctures, I still smile every time i see double digits of duwweltjies parking off nicely in my tyre and my ride carried on without a hitch. Flippen legend.

Then I got onto who was actually on the list

https://mmbhof.org/mtn-bike-hall-of-fame/inductees/

Some legit names there. BUT as with all things there are going to be some missing.

Obviously there is a huge case for Greg Minnaar to be there, and maybe he will make it this year as he's retired from pro racing - if a bunch of old frenchies steve peat and sam hill are there, then why not. I think I might just put in a form, unless someone much closer to him wants to.

For totally different reasons, (and not as a one vs the other) one could put a really good case for Kevin Vermaak. Can't think of anyone else who has done so much to change the racing scene, and create an entire new market.

whatcha all think?

Dont know if you read the Cape Epic thread, aren't we supposed to be chasing him with pitch forks and epic hate?

I didn't read your whole post but I did type "Minnaar" into the search tab of the hall-of-fame website and got back the equivalent of "Did you mean Steve Peat?"

I needed a minute to cool down. That's not to say Sam Hill and Steve Peat aren't both legends.

I should have read the whole post first.
