Any race reports?

Was waiting for photo's to include in a report, but you have to pay for them and they are quite limited. Also, the photographer was too late at the last three photo spots and missed the riders in the break and the main bunch completely...Β πŸ™ˆ

Good to see some fresh faces in the front of the race and guys not scared to roll the dice and fight for a spot in the breakaway. Only way to gain experience is by pushing past your comfort zone! πŸ’ͺ

We struggled a bit for cohesion with the 10-man break and I was glad to see it reduced to a trio on Bothmaskloof, but I still found myself outnumbered with the other two riders joining me being teammates. We were flying and worked well, until the truce was broken in the final 10km and they started rolling attacks. It's part of the game, and on the very last little roller I could no longer follow and the one got away. I then had no sprint left in the legs whatsoever so also got rolled on the line! πŸ˜†

Epic 😎

It takes some getting used to fighting to make the split and then getting straight on the gas in a rotating pace line to snap the elastic and cement the gap!
